You may upload handwriting images for analysis. Depending on your deployment setup, these files are processed by the backend service configured for your environment.

2. Processing Purpose

Uploaded data is used to compute handwriting metrics, structural similarity, and downloadable reports/maps for the requested comparison task.

3. Storage and Retention

By default, HAT is intended for minimal-retention workflows. Actual storage duration depends on deployment infrastructure, server logs, and operational configuration maintained by the deployment owner.

4. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures should be implemented by the deployment operator, including secure transport (HTTPS), restricted backend access, and controlled infrastructure credentials.

5. Third-Party Services

If deployed on third-party hosting platforms, their privacy and security terms may also apply. Users should review the policies of those providers separately.

6. Forensic Use Limitation

HAT is provided for research, training, and screening support. It does not constitute a final forensic opinion and should not be treated as a sole evidentiary authority.
